Bootsie is a big, beautiful feline with distinct white markings. She is very shy and will need time to adjust to a new home. She would probably do best as an only cat. She would be a great companion for an older person or couple with the patience and love to show her that people can be loving friends. Bootsie
Ringo Sweet Ringo had a family once upon a time. They adopted him from the shelter when he was a puppy and then brought him back to the shelter when he was one year old because they said they didn't have time for him. Please show him that there are people who have time to love him. Ringo is a 4-year-old mixed breed who weighs about 55 pounds and looks like a small Newfoundland. He loves to be petted and to hang out with people. He is really funny and laid back. He has a beautiful wavy, black coat. He also has very pretty chestnut-colored eyes. He loves to ride in the car and is great on a leash. He is also crate trained. He will need a yard with a wooden fence for exercising.
Amber Amber is a 2 year old coonhound mix with a wonderful, sweet personality. She gets along well with other dogs and can be trusted to not tear up stuff. She is housebroken and crate trained. She has sleek black coat, but will need to be treated if she has a demadex outbreak. If you give her a chance, you won't be sorry.

Dollie Hopes Dollie was born around 2002 and weighs about 70 pounds. She is a real sweetie. She gets along with cats, dogs and would be fine with children older than 6, who know how to treat a dog nicely. She is housebroken and has good manners. She would make a great farm or city dog. She is calm and really likes to be around people and to go for walks or ride in the car.
Hershey Smiles WHO could resist that smile?  We don't really know what breed Hershey is but we know she is a good girl who will make a great addition to any family. She loves people and gets along well with other dogs—but no cats. She is a nice compact size, she's smart and friendly and smiles a lot, as you can see from her photo. Please, think about giving her a great home. She will love you forever. She was born around 2001 and weighs about 30 pounds.

Cookie When we rescued Cookie she was almost dead. She had an injured eye and mange and looked like she hadn't had a good meal in a while. However a little TLC later and she is doing great, except that she really wants a home of her own. She is a gentle calm girl. She gets along with people, dogs, and cats and is housebroken, crate-trained and does well on a leash. Cookie was born around 2004 and weighs about 50 pounds. She did lose her eye, but it doesn't bother her at all and is hardly noticeable because of her black coat.
Mia is a mellow young black lab and is looking beautiful these days, especially for a gal who had mange, fleas and ticks all over when she was dumped in the shelter driveway as a puppy. Now she is a happy, healthy girl waiting for her new home. She is very sweet and likes to play and chew on a bone now and then, as she is doing in these photos. Mia gets along great with people, and other dogs. She is about 75 pounds and was born in 2005. She would make a great family pet.
Andy cuddles Andy is a fun boy who likes to play and to snuggle. He is smart and would make a great family pet. He is dachshund or beagle mixed with basset we think because he has basset legs and ears. Andy is sweet and weighs about 40 pounds or so. He was probably born around 2006 and has a great personality.
Chantilly Smiles Chantilly has a pretty face and a wiggle when she walks and a giggle when she talks--well barks. She is very friendly and a good companion. She gets along well with other dogs. She was born around 2005 and weighs about 60 pounds. She is crate trained and does well on a leash. Please, think about giving Chantilly a happy home--she will make your world go round!
